Synopsis

The anvil weight presses forth.

After an attempt to stop the genocidal Emperor Belos in the magical world of the Boiling Isles ends in a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions, teenager Luz Noceda awakens in a Gravesfield hospital bed to find herself returned to Earth and reunited with her mother for the first time in months. But Luz’s strife is not over - faced with the terrible knowledge that she was responsible for setting a genocide in motion, Luz’s greatest foe is no longer the monsters and demons of the Boiling Isles, or even Belos, the witch hunter who presided over all of it. Now, with the help of her remaining friends who made it out of the Boiling Isles with her, Luz must fight against the simmering sense of self-hatred that exists deep within her, before finding a way back to the Boiling Isles to set things right.

Meanwhile, the Boiling Isles lie in ruin after the failed Day of Unity. The Collector, a cunning, unpredictable and sadistic child-like deity roams free after thousands of years of imprisonment. A weakened Edalyn Clawthorne, formerly the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles and mentor of Luz, escapes the Isles with her sister Lilith, her former partner Raine, Hooty, her house demon, and a ragtag crew of allies she finds during her escape. Together, they embark on a journey that takes them across space and time, as the key to freeing the Isles - and Edalyn’s adopted son, King, from the clutches of The Collector - lies within the unwritten history of this mysterious universe.

However, as Luz heals her trauma and as Eda explores the unknown realms of the Boiling Isles, dark forces conspire in Gravesfield. Their plot threatens not just Luz and her friends, and not just Gravesfield, but the human realm as a whole, and beyond…

About This Project

Two seasons of written episodes are currently planned, with a final, feature-length episode to end the series.
